Merit Medical Evaluations is excited to welcome Dr. Michael Coffey onto our panel of board-certified physicians.
With a specialty in hand and upper extremity surgery, Dr. Coffey’s goal is to provide quality care and focus on the patient’s individual needs and concerns. He is eager to bring his expertise into the independent medical field.
Born in Omaha, NE, Coffey received his medical degree at Creighton University and completed his residency at Wright State University in Dayton, OH. He fulfilled his fellowship at Kleinert Institute for Hand and Microsurgery, focusing on hand and upper extremity surgery. Some of his areas of interest include shoulder arthroscopy, fractures of the shoulder, arm, elbow, hand, wrist, and forearm.
Coffey’s personal interests, outside of the medical field, include walleye fishing, reading biographies and history books, and baseball. He has a collection of Hall of Fame autographs and is a fan of the New York Mets.
